Rep. Rob Andrews (D-NJ) will step down later this month to join a Philadelphia law firm, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported Tuesday, citing a source close to the situation.

The anonymous source said Andrews, a 24-year veteran of the House, would take a public affairs job at an unnamed firm in the interest of his family’s financial future.

Andrews was being investigated by the House Ethics Committee for allegedly using campaign funds to pay for a family trip to Scotland.

The congressman has a press conference scheduled for 11:30 a.m., according to the Inquirer.
