While Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump was making appearances at the convention in Cleveland, he reportedly also found time to advise embattled Fox News CEO Roger Ailes before he resigned on Thursday.
Trump and Ailes counseled each other in multiple phone calls this week, CNN Money reported, citing two anonymous Trump aides.
21st Century Fox announced Ailes’ resignation two weeks after Gretchen Carlson, a former Fox News host, sued Ailes for sexual harassment and retaliation. That news sparked instant speculation that Ailes would work with Trump’s campaign in some way, now that Rupert Murdoch has taken the helm at Fox.
A Trump spokeswoman told CNN Money that the GOP nominee had no comment on Ailes’ departure.

Before I read this article, I thought that the piggy Ailes would be snapped up by Trump as an advisor. Like–minded compadres. Of course Ailes does not have to work another day in his life, with a $40 million golden parachute.
Remember that Rush is good o’l Roger’s biggest supporter and friend. I’m sure that if The Donald decides to hire Roger that he will listen to everything his new boss has to say and follow exactly!
