Former Montana Gov. Brian Schweitzer (D) preparing to launch a bid in Montana’s open U.S. Senate race next year, the Missoulian State Bureau reported Sunday.
Citing sources, the article that the popular Schweitzer already “looks very much like a candidate” in the race to succeed retiring Sen. Max Baucus (D-MT).
Schweitzer was named chairman of the board of a Montana-based mining company late last month.
