George Zimmerman was arrested Monday after an alleged domestic dispute with his girlfriend, authorities told WESH-TV.
Sheriff Don Eslinger confirmed that Zimmerman, who was acquitted of shooting and killing teenager Trayvon Martin earlier this year, was being driven to Seminole County Jail, per the Orlando Sentinel, after an incident took place around 1:30pm ET.
Police announced Friday that no charges would be filed as a result of a September domestic dispute between Zimmerman and his estranged wife, Shellie Zimmerman.
