Facebook and Yahoo have reached a final settlement in their criss-crossing software patent lawsuits, according to All Things D. Yahoo started the fight when it sued Facebook in March for allegedly violating 10 software patents related to online interactions and social networking, but Facebook added fuel to the fire when it countered with its own lawsuit in April. Now the bad blood seems to be behind both companies as they are said to be expanding their content and ads partnership, inked in 2010, moving forward.

“The agreement will include a major expansion of their ongoing partnership, including a joint advertising sales effort, as well as cross-licensing of some key patents between the pair,” All Things D’s Kara Swisher reports.
