French officials had reportedly identified three suspects earlier Wednesday evening.
Two of the suspects are brothers, ages 34 and 32, and the third suspect is an 18-year-old, according to news reports.
The Associated Press and The Telegraph reported the suspects names based on reports from anonymous French officials. The two brothers are allegedly Said Kouachi and Cherif Kouachi and are both French nationals. Reports named Hamyd Mourad as the third suspect.
On Wednesday morning, three gunmen carried out an attack on the headquarters of Charlie Hebdo, killing 12 and injuring 11 others.
In short, the French treated this as a law enforcement issue, rather than as some sort of “war.” And succeeded. An object lesson.
I’ve got a glass of American bourbon by my hand that I’m going to raise to the French cops and security forces who got those sons of bitches without wasting any time about it.
taken care of business. Quick and efficient. The politically motivated here should check out the idea.

Bravo, France!
