Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the surviving suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing, has told investigators that he and his older brother talked about detonating the rest of their explosives in Times Square in New York City, according to NBC News

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev had reportedly previously told investigators that he and his brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, planned to go to New York City to “party.” The surviving Tsarnaev apparently revealed the Times Square talk under subsequent questioning — but before he was read his rights. But two law enforcement officials who spoke with NBC News cautioned that the New York City plan was “aspirational at most.”
