A bipartisan agreement has been reached on gun control proposals in Connecticut in response to the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre, the Hartford Courant reported Sunday. Details haven’t been released, but, according to the Courant, legislative leaders will present the package to other lawmakers on Monday.

As the report noted, lawmakers have been pushing for expanded background checks, a ban on assault weapons, and a ban on high-capacity magazines, the latter of which has apparently been a sticking point on the way to a deal.
