Rep. Michael Grimm (R-NY) on Wednesday said he was “utterly devastated” after the House of Representatives adjourned the night before without taking up Hurricane Sandy relief legislation. “It was beyond surprising,” Grimm said on WNYC, adding that House Speaker John Boehner’s office indicated that a vote would go forward.
“I especially feel like the rug was just pulled out from under me, I don’t know how else to say it,” Grimm said.
