With a timeline for his return to Congress still unclear, Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-IL) has put his Washington, D.C. house up for sale. The Chicago Sun-Times reported on Wednesday the Victorian row house near DuPont Circle is listed for $2.5 million.
The congressman has been on medical leave since June 10, when he reportedly collapsed at the house. Since then, he has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and spent time in treatment in Arizona and Minnesota before returning to the nation’s capital. Jackson is up for reelection this year. His staff has said he plans to return to work but has not said when.
