Reince Priebus, the chair of the Republican National Committee, on Wednesday night said that he would make sure that the delegates at the party’s nominating convention in July are safe, responding to threats from an ally of Donald Trump.

Roger Stone, an informal adviser to the Trump campaign, this week threatened to reveal the hotels and room numbers for any uncommitted delegates at the July convention who try to help another candidate, such as Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), “steal” the nomination from Trump. Going into the convention, several delegates will not be bound to a specific candidate and will be able to align with the candidate of their choice.

During an interview on Fox News, Megyn Kelly asked Priebus to respond to Stone’s comments.

“It’s totally over the line,” Priebus said. “And we’re going to have $50 million in security. We’ll make sure that every delegate is safe.”
