Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) offered his condolences to the victims of the Sparks Middle School shooting in Nevada Monday.

“No words of condolence could possibly ease the pain, but I hope it is some small comfort that Nevada mourns with them. I stand by to be of any assistance if there is anything that can be done,” Reid said in a statement.

Reid also expressed his sorrow in a tweet:

My thoughts are with teachers, parents and students at Sparks Middle School who experienced a traumatic morning. Nevada mourns with them.
