Though Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY) celebrated a win in the closest primary in his decades-long tenure in Congress on Tuesday, new numbers from the city election board show the race is now neck-and-neck and the election could still go to his opponent, state Sen. Adriano Espaillat, reports CNN.

According to numbers released Saturday night by the New York City Board of Elections, Rangel leads Espaillat by two percentage points or just 802 votes with over 3,000 votes unaccounted for.

The new numbers are the result of a lawsuit filed by Espaillat’s campaign claiming that too many ballots were left outstanding in Tuesday’s primary election. The state supreme court will hold a hearing on the election on Monday.
