Rep. Randy Weber (R-TX) on Monday night made a comparison between Adolf Hitler and Barack Obama, after the President took some heat for not attending a march against terrorism in Paris.

Weber invoked — and misspelled — Hitler’s name on Twitter to criticize Obama for being absent from the large group of world leaders that gathered Sunday for a unity rally:

Weber, who has previously described Obama as a “Socialistic dictator” and called him the “Kommandant-In-Chef [sic],” was referring to Hitler’s visit to Paris in 1940 during the German occupation.

White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest acknowledged earlier Monday in a press briefing that the Obama administration should have sent someone “higher profile” to the event.
