Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) is no fan of either drone warfare or government surveillance, but he seems amenable to using drones to spy on Democrats.
Paul flew one Wednesday on Fox’s “On The Record With Greta Van Susteren.” He said Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) gave him the drone as a birthday gift.
“You you may wonder what am I going to do with a drone?” Paul said.
“Well, it’s got a laser, and I have been trying to get invited to the Democrat lunch for about a year now,” he added. “They won’t invite me. You know what? I think I’m going to send my drone in.”
