Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) wants to kill the nation’s tax code. Even if that means symbolically setting a stack of papers on fire, putting it through a wood chipper, and cutting it with a chainsaw, as he did in a video released Tuesday.
Wearing a T-shirt that read, “Detroit Republican,” the GOP presidential candidate did all those things while a rock version of the national anthem played.
In the video, he asked viewers to vote on how they’d like to destroy the 70,000-page document.
