Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) is preparing an attempt to take down Donald Trump at Wednesday night’s Republican presidential debate.
“I think he deserves both barrels,” Paul told The Daily Caller on Tuesday. “I want to make sure everyone in the whole country knows he’s a fake conservative.”
Paul, who went after Trump in the first debate, told The Daily Caller that he wants voters to better understand Trump’s policy positions.
“I think ultimately when voters fully grasp who he is and what he supports, I think they’ll run away with their hair on fire,” he said.
Paul told CNN that he would prepare for the debate on Wednesday by going to a shooting range for some target practice.
“I will be out shooting target practice in the morning,” he said on Tuesday. “I will be shooting the tax code with some friends tomorrow morning, and that will be my preparation.”

The best thing about Trump is that he sucks all the oxygen from Rand, minimizing my exposure to his ever-escalating douchiness.
This will be interesting tonight. My quasi inlays (my better half’s mother and her boyfriend) are in town from Arizona and they are insisting on coming over to watch the debate because of a lack of television at my partner’s brothers house where they are staying.
I hope I don’t bleed out from biting my tongue when Teh Crazy™ ensues onscreen and in the living room as I try to remain civil to them.
I may need the popcorn just to keep my mouth full so as not to call them (onscreen and off) out for their bullshit.
