As Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) prepared to formally announce his White House bid on Tuesday, the Kentucky Republican’s presidential operation was already hawking some unique campaign swag.
Among the items advertised on the senator’s presidential campaign website was an pocket Constitution, autographed by Paul, that supporters could purchase for $1,000.
“It’s hard to find a greater defender of the U.S. Constitution in the Halls of Congress than Rand Paul. As a Constitutional conservative, he makes it the core of everything he does in Washington,” the item description reads.
Paul supporters can also snap up a set of 12 “Rand on a Stick” for $35, an “NSA Spy Cam Blocker” for $15 or a “Defeat the Washington Machine” bag toss game for $100.
Wow.
I don’t know what else to say.
Nonsensimilla…
$1,000? WHY? It’s not like Rand was the original author.
And who would buy this? What’s the allure?
Strange and tacky.
Try a Thai stick, the smoke forms Rand’s version of the Constitution…
The real question for Rand’s event?
How’s Ted Cruz going to crash it?
Unfortunately for the recipients, it’s an expurgated version with only the second and tenth amendments present in the text.
