Priorities USA Action, the pro-Obama super PAC, is releasing the first TV ad using footage from a leaked video of Mitt Romney saying he will never convince 47 percent of Americans to take “personal responsibility.”

The ad takes footage from the video and splices it into a previous Priorities USA Action ad that takes aim at Romney’s tax plan, which the Tax Policy Center says would cut taxes on the rich and raise them for middle-class Americans.

The ad uses a narrator and footage of Romney, arguing, “Behind these doors Mitt Romney calls half the American people … ‘dependent upon government, who believe they are victims.’”

“I’ll never convince them they should take personal responsibility,” Romney says. “And Mitt Romney will never convince us he’s on our side,” responds the narrator.

The ad is part of a $30 million project that focuses on how Romney’s policies would affect the middle class. The ad will air in Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Ohio, Virginia and Wisconsin.
