Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has a small 2-point lead in North Carolina, according to a new survey from Democratic-leaning Public Policy Polling (PPP). Romney gets 49 percent to Presdient Obama’s 47 percent among likely voters, only a slight change from the firm’s poll two weeks ago that showed a 48/48 tie between the two men.
