A majority of Democratic voters want their congressmen to “stick to their principles” when dealing with President Donald Trump’s administration even if that means blocking all its nominations and legislation, according to a new Politico/Morning Consult poll released Wednesday.

56 percent of Democratic voters said that Congressional Democrats “should stick to their principles” when working with the White House “even if that means blocking all legislation or nominees for government posts.”

Just 34 percent said Democratic lawmakers should work with the White House to “get things done.”

The poll surveyed 2,070 registered voters online from Feb. 2–4 and has a margin of error of 2 percentage points.

Hmmmmmmmm…obstruct. Make sure Trump is a half-term ( or less) prez.

  2. The single most important thing we want to achieve is for PeePee to be a less-than-one-term president. Take that, Turtle.

  3. We have been handed a golden opportunity here - and we are using it. The Democrats in Congress finally seem to be understanding that you do not negotiate with terrorists - and that when the GOP broke all the rules, they threw out the game book (that they so desperately want back). Let them whine about Democrats “not working with them,” and not giving anyone a chance. That deserves a laughing fit. If this is how they want to play, have at it. No one - NO ONE - believes the Democrats started this, contrary to the lies they might spew for the public.
