Nearly 75% of Republican and Republican-leaning voters believe Mitt Romney will definitely be the GOP nominee, a survey from the Pew Research Center finds. Republicans also want the nomination process to wrap up, saying 47% to 36% that the race is bad for the party and should come to an end.

These are two points on which both Democrats and Republicans agree; 64% of Democrats and Democratic-leaning voters also think Romney will be the nominee and 63% said the primary is hurting the GOP.

The poll of 1,000 adults was conducted April 5-8, 2012.
