Plane Lands In New Jersey Without Landing Gear

A commercial airplane touched down early Saturday morning in Newark, N.J. without its landing gear, CNN reported.

The U.S. Airways plane was carrying 31 passengers and three crew members when it landed on its belly at approximately 1 a.m. ET at Newark Liberty International Airport. 

Passengers and crew members were evacuated after the landing. An investigation into the incident has begun.
