The latest round of the Piers Morgan-Larry King feud is a nearly scene-for-scene re-enactment of the last one.

It started with King once again questioning CNN’s decision to replace his long-running Q&A show with “Piers Morgan Live” in 2010.

King told a Buffalo, N.Y. radio program last week that it was a mistake for the network to hire “a Britisher” and said that Morgan’s show was “all about him.” King also said Morgan was “a bit pompous,” singling out the host’s passionate commentaries on gun control.

“So, I had trouble watching Piers Morgan’s show and I guess a lot of other people did too,” King said of the program that CNN canceled earlier this year.

Morgan responded angrily via Twitter on Friday. Several tweets later, Morgan said he was ready to “move on.”

But he did not move on. Prompted by Mediaite’s write-up of King’s remarks, Morgan called King a “dick” in a tweet on Monday and mocked the former CNN host’s use of the word “Britisher.”

It all unfolded nearly the same as it did in May, when King wondered why CNN hired a “Britisher” and Morgan promptly lashed out on Twitter.
