Eleven bounty hunters followed a bad tip from Oklahoma all the way to Arizona, where they confronted Phoenix Police Chief Joseph Yahner at his home late Tuesday night.
Two fugitive-recovery companies, Delta One Tactical Recovery and NorthStar Fugitive, swarmed the house around 10 p.m. and had multiple trucks parked on the property, the Arizona Republic reported Thursday.
Following a verbal confrontation, Yahner opened the door wearing his boxers.
The Republic reported that most of the bounty hunters realized their mistake very quickly, but NorthStar Fugitive Recovery owner Brent Farley refused to leave the property.
Farley is facing charges of criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct.
The bounty hunters reportedly had an 11-year-old and an employee’s adult relative with them.
The fugitive both companies were seeking is wanted on drug charges in Oklahoma.
The Republic posted the 911 call.

LOLOLOLOLOLOL!!! I consider it miraculous that no one wound up dead.
I see the video gamers have upped their play.
Hahaha. Obviously this is the gang that couldn’t shoot straight to begin with, but I really wanted to see what happened after the Chief came out in his boxers, not the stuff before that…
And autorun TPM? Pa-leeze.
Privatized police in action. We should privatize fire and rescue, mail delivery, environmental protection and social security too!!!
Was it bring your kid to work day? And wouldn’t taking an 11 year old to a fugitive takedown constitute child endangerment?
And seriously, Delta One Tactical Recovery? Just screams “don’t look at my tiny dick!”
