Rep. Phil Roe (R-TN) cracked a joke on Monday about destroying Obamacare with a nuclear bomb.

“Can’t you just tweak Obamacare? Yeah, with a nuclear bomb,” he said during a conservative policy summit at the Heritage Foundation.

“We have to repeal it,” he said.

Roe told the audience that he has repeatedly reached out to President Barack Obama to discuss health care alternatives but hasn’t received a response.
