Pew Finds Public Uncertainty Over Immigration Bill

The public doesn’t seem to know what to make of a bipartisan proposal to reform the nation’s immigration system, according to new findings from Pew Research Center released on Wednesday.

One-third of respondents said they favor the Senate legislation put forward by the so-called “Gang of 8,” while 28 percent said they are opposed. Thirty-eight percent said they don’t know what to think of the bill.
