Rep. Peter King (R-NY) isn’t happy with The Washington Post and The Guardian US getting a Pulitzer for their coverage of leaker Edward Snowden and the National Security Agency’s secret surveillance program.

King has been an outspoken critic of a number of media coverage outlets for their attention to Snowden and the NSA surveillance program.

In January King strongly criticized The New York Times for an editorial that argued for a clemency deal for Snowden.

“Edward Snowden, he’s a traitor or a defector or both, and the New York Times is an accomplice,” King said.
