The day after a grand jury decided not to indcit Ferguson, Mo. police officer, who shot and killed unarmed teenager Michael Brown, Rep. Pete King (R-NY) has one suggested for President Obama: invite Wilson to the White House, pronto.

“I think it would be very helpful if President Obama went and met with the police officer, or invited him to the White House, and said, ‘You’ve gone through four months of smear and slander, and the least we can do is tell you that it’s unfortunate that it happened and thank you for doing your job,’” King said on Fox Business on Tuesday, in an interview flagged by Politico.

The congressman went on to say the President should have offered a few compliments to Darren Wilson in his statement following the grand jury decision.

“I wish he had said one good word about the police, one good word about Officer Wilson, who has gone through all this,” he said.

    Wilson should join the IRA…

  2. Darren Wilson shot an unarmed man. When the man was over a 100 feet away, Wilson became worried that the man looked enraged by being shot, and then shot him more, killing him.

There are better people whom Obama could compliment than Darren Wilson.

    Here’s a few:
“‘Officer Wilson hasn’t killed an unarmed citizen since August.’”

That’s about as positive as I’ll get at present.

  4. So in King’s view Wilson is exonerated (before King could possibly have acquainted himself with Wilson’s probably perjury before a grand jury), whereas he’ll probably still be harping on Benghazi for the next two years, actual exoneration notwithstanding. IOKIYAR.

Who does this clown think he’s kidding? Yes, GOP, a race war is your ticket to complete corporate control forever. Why Rudy and Cheney think it’ll be a piece of cake, over in days, hours even. Our loyal American troops and police won’t think twice before mowing down friends and neighbors with serious high-powered rifle fire for the enrichment and enhanced power of bloated camera hogs like Peter King…
Just how many Rethugs are going to scream “Fire!” on today’s crowded TV theater?
