Indiana Gov. Mike Pence said that the country needs to “stop seizing on these moments of tragedy” when he was asked about race relations in policing.

“What we ought to do is stop seizing on these moments of tragedy. We ought to assure the public that we’ll have a full and complete and transparent investigation wherever there’s a loss of life, because of police action. But senator, please, you know, enough of this seeking every opportunity to demean law enforcement broadly by making the accusation of implicit bias every time tragedy occurs,” Pence said.

Pence argued that police see Trump’s “commitment to law and order.”

“They also hear the bad mouthing, the bad mouthing that comes from people that seize upon tragedy in the wake of police action shootings as a reason to use a broad brush to accuse law enforcement of implicit bias or institutional racism,” Pence said.

Kaine challenged Pence.

“if you’re afraid to have the discussion, you’ll never solve it,” Kaine said, adding later, “I guess I can’t believe you are defending the position that there is no bias and it’s a topic.”

    What a stupid prick.

As Lauren Fox started fawning about how Pence is a True American Hero?

Well, he’s not a patch on Michele Fiore, of course. She’s like a combination of Laura Secord, Sarah Palin, and Betsy Ross.

  4. “Stop seizing on these moments of tragedy” is the same line the NRA uses. What Pence is really saying is “lets not talk about the problem. If we talk about the problem we might do something to fix it, and my constituents in the police unions don’t want to fix the problem.”

I’m trying to figure out how Pence thinks that line plays against multiple stops for driving while black?

Or does he believe that stop and frisk did anything to mend police community relations?

Shorter Pence: if they are visibly different we get to treat them differently and I don’t get why everybody is looking at me funny.

Pence would have made a very good junior Nazi.
