House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, in an interview with ABC’s “This Week,” said that she had no regrets for fundraising off the Rev. Jeremiah Wright story on behalf of the DCCC.

“Why would we have any regrets?” Pelosi asked.

Pelosi justified her appeal to voters by noting that Gov. Mitt Romney used Rev. Wright in comments he made back in February on Sean Hannity’s show.

“He has, he stood by his remarks in February.  So I think maybe it might be useful to see what he said in February and see that he stands by those remarks,” Pelosi said.

Pelosi then quickly shifted from Wright to the economy.

“This election is about three things – jobs, jobs, and jobs. This election is not about Rev. Wright,” Pelosi declared.
