House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) on Tuesday night distanced himself from Donald Trump’s comment that Saddam Hussein was “so good” at killing terrorists.

During an interview on Fox News, Megyn Kelly asked Ryan to respond to Trump’s comments about Hussein.

“He was one of the 20th century’s most evil people,” Ryan said in response. “He committed mass genocide against his own people using chemical weapons. Saddam Hussein was a bad guy.”

  1. Hussein killed even more Iraqi’s than George W. Bush! And Hussein tortured more people, too.

But Bush was our guy, so o.k.

  2. know what else is evil? a faux Catholic failing to practice as their religion by punishing people for being poor… taking money to do a job and then refusing to do your job…

  3. …but I still support the nominee!

  4. I don’t think Ryan will be asked to speak at the Republican Convention though he is the chair of the convention. Trump’s praise of Saddam, and the North Korean dictator, and Putin tells me that Trump should never never be elected as POTUS. His praise of evil men taints Trump.

  5. Don really isn’t a very smart person.
