Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, R-Wis., talks to reporters following a closed-door caucus meeting at Republican National Committee headquarters on Capitol Hill in Washington, Tuesday, March 15, 2016. Tea party conservatives have blocked a budget plan backed by GOP leaders, a blow to Speaker Ryan and a reflection of the anti-Washington mood pushed by GOP front-runner Donald Trump. The move by the House Freedom Caucus, the same band of conservatives that toppled his predecessor, would mean that the House would fail to pass a budget for the first time since Republicans reclaimed control of the chamber in 2011.(AP Photo/J. After the FBI on Monday released partial transcripts of the Orlando gunman’s communications during the worst mass shooting in modern U.S. history, House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) called releasing the edited transcripts “preposterous.”

In a statement, Ryan called for President Obama to order the release of the full transcripts of Omar Mateen’s call with a 911 dispatcher and conversations with a crisis negotiator, in which he called himself an Islamic soldier.

“Selectively editing this transcript is preposterous. We know the shooter was a radical Islamist extremist inspired by ISIS,” Ryan said in the statement. “We also know he intentionally targeted the LGBT community. The administration should release the full, unredacted transcript so the public is clear-eyed about who did this, and why.”

  3. Sure, whatever… Fine.

But, Speaker Ryan, can we ask you about something Donald Trump said 45 minutes ago?

  4. So, stop holding the next SC justice as a bargaining chip and maybe we’ll give you the transcripts. See how these MF’ers like being held over a barrel! Get Ryan over to McTurtle’s office and beg that he allow a vote…and we’ll think about that transcript. eh?

  5. Gosh Paul…as ‘preposterous’ as you releasing yet another GLOSSY and calling it a ‘plan’ to replace the ACA? THAT preposterous?
