Panetta: U.S. Soldier Accused Of Afghan Shooting Spree Could Face Death Penalty

The U.S. soldier accused of killing 16 Afghan civilians — nine of them children — could face the death penalty, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said

On Monday, CNN reported that the accused soldier was a trained sniper and was previously diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury.
