Sarah Palin endorsed former state Treasurer Sarah Steelman Tuesday in Missouri’s Republican Senate primary.
“Let’s send a commonsense conservative woman from the Show Me state to show Washington how to get things done,” Palin wrote in a Facebbok post.
The Steelman campaign has previously played down suggestions that it might be intentionally copying Palin-style imagery in its own TV ads.
The Republican primary, a three-way race between Steelman, Rep. Todd Akin and businessman John Brunner, will be held will be held on Aug. 7.
