CBS News reported Wednesday that the suspected Orlando shooter posted about the Islamic State on Facebook right before attacking Pulse nightclub early Sunday morning.

Citing an unnamed source “familiar with the investigation,” CBS News reported that Mateen wrote in the moments before the massacre, “You kill innocent women and children by doing us airstrikes..now taste the Islamic state vengeance [sic].”

The shooting left 50 dead, including Mateen, and dozens of others injured. President Barack Obama confirmed Tuesday that Mateen was believed to be “inspired” by extremists online.

“In the next few days you will see attacks from the Islamic State [ISIS] in the usa,” Mateen’s Facebook status continued, according to CBS.
