Oklahoma Man Threatened To Kill Gov. Fallin Because Weed Is Illegal

Police arrested a 27-year-old man after he was reported for threatening to kill Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin (R) because marijuana is illegal in Oklahoma.

A “concerned person” tipped off authorities about the threats from the man, 27-year-old Matthew Johnson, Oklahoma City Police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said according to The Oklahoman on Wednesday.

Johnson was arrested in his home and in the process police also recovered a .380 bullet but did not find a gun.

According to court records, Johnson was convicted of domestic assault and battery two years ago. According to Oklahoma’s KSWO Channel 7, Johnson has also been in and out of jail six times over the past three years.
