As he thanked the throngs of people gathered Wednesday at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, President Barack Obama shifted to a more casual look.

Obama expressed gratitude to the crowd and German leaders for an “extraordinarily warm welcome.”

“In fact, it’s so warm and I feel so good that I’m actually going to take off my jacket and anybody else who wants to, feel free to,” Obama said, as the crowd erupted. “We can be a little more informal among friends.”
