Obama’s Speech Today To Provide Glimpse At The Next Three Years

President Barack Obama is scheduled to deliver an economic speech Wednesday that could give an idea of what will consume the remainder of his second term.

Obama is set to give the remarks at an event hosted by the Center for American Progress scheduled for 11:15 a.m. ET in Washington, D.C.

The White House told the New York Times that Obama’s speech will serve as “a window into where the president will focus his energies over the next three years.”

According to the Times, Obama is expected to “press for initiatives to promote manufacturing, energy innovations, education, infrastructure projects and more.”
