President Obama appealed to a young Israeli audience on Thursday with a reference to the nation’s most popular sketch comedy show, which often parodies US-Israel relations.

“Any drama between me and my friend Bibi over the years was just a plot to create material for Eretz Nehederet,” Obama said to laughter and applause.

So what’s the show’s take on their material? Here’s a sketch from 2010 in which Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu travels to Washington to try to smooth things over with Obama after a rough stretch. Some of the dialogue is in Hebrew, but you definitely don’t need to speak the language to get what’s going on — especially in the second half of the sketch.
