Obama: Premature To Criticize Lack Of Diversity In Second-Term Cabinet Nominations

President Obama on Monday defended the diversity of his White House, noting that it is premature to criticize the lack of women or minorities in his second-term cabinet nominations. 

“I think, until you’ve seen what my overall team looks like, it is premature to assume that somehow we’re going backwards,” Obama said at a White House press conference. “We’re not going backwards. We’re going forward.”
