  1. Let’s hope the President doesn’t give in to the right wing and proclaim his intention to stop terrorist attacks by whatever means necessary. There is no way to stop an individual in this country who is willing to die from taking a dozen victims with him, and it makes no sense to tell Americans that this kind of attack can be forestalled. But we can defeat the terrorists by not turning our nation upside down and abrogating our constitutional freedoms in order to fend off these individual attacks. It’s not going to happen. But do not give the terrorists the satisfaction of transforming America into a nation of cowering simps begging for a security apparatus to stop and frisk everyone on the street and knock down any front door in the wee hours of the morning and insist that we all carry identification papers to keep us out of jail because our skin is brown or black. That’s when the terrorists win, my friends. Not when they kill 22 people in some unstoppable attack – when they force us to change the way we live.

    The President is stellar!

  4. He looks so tired. So tired of putting up with the stupid. How can anyone watch that speech and not admire that man? He is class and dignity personified.

  5. Can anyone imagine GWBush or (goddess forbid) a Pres. Trump giving that kind of speech?
