President Barack Obama on Friday afternoon will deliver a statement “on the impact of the Affordable Care Act on the health, lives and pocketbooks of women and their families,” the White House announced.
Obama will give the remarks at 2:40 p.m. ET in the East Room of the White House.
The Associated Press reported Friday that Obama is ramping up new efforts to sell the polarizing new health care law to the public. At a Mother’s Day event Friday at the White House, Obama will tout the law’s specific benefits for women.
