Harkening back to his infamous 2011 White House Correspondents’ Dinner roast of Donald Trump, president Barack Obama on Monday resurfaced an old critique of the real estate mogul: he simply isn’t a serious candidate for the White House.
During a visit to the set of ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” the president was asked if Trump’s performances during the presidential debates made him laugh.
“Most of the time,” Obama replied.
Other targets of the president’s mockery included the leaked recording of Trump boasting about grabbing women and his habit of starting Twitter fights in the wee hours of the morning.
The Republican nominee came up again during the “mean tweets” section of the show.
“President Obama will go down as perhaps the worst president in the history of the United States!” said Obama, reading off a tweet sent from Trump’s account.
“Well @realdonaldtrump at least I will go down as a president,” he cracked, tossing his phone aside.
