President Obama said that the what is necessary at this point in negotiations to avert the fiscal cliff is not “sitting in a room” during an interview with Bloomberg TV Tuesday.
“I don’t think that the issue now has to do with sitting in a room,” Obama said, responding to a question on when he and House Speaker John Boehner will sit down in a room together.
Instead, Obama said the issue is about the “acknowledgement” that revenues on the top two percent will have to go up.
