The Washington Post reports that the Obama reelection campaign has just opened its fifth office in the key battleground state of Virginia.
Obama carried Virginia in 2008 – the first Democrat in 44 years to take it from Republican hands. By the time of the ’08 election his team had 50 offices in the state and over 250 paid staffers. So far he has a strong headstart in Virginia on the eventual Republican nominee.
