Almost every living President, from Barack Obama to George W. Bush, echoed the words of the late Gerald Ford in marking the final episode of David Letterman’s 33-year reign at “The Late Show” on CBS.
“Our long national nightmare is over,” they each said on Wednesday night.
(President Jimmy Carter was the only one missing.)

Wonder where Carter was?
Knowing Jimmy, he was either building houses or maybe hanging with Dickie Betts.
Likely, they wanted to include only those Presidents in office while Letterman was on the air.
Live ones anyway!
