The New York Times has suspended Andrew Goldman, a freelancer who contributes to the magazine’s Q&A feature, for lashing out on Twitter, suggesting a critical writer would have liked to sleep her way to the top if she had the opportunity to.

In a statement, Times magazine editor Hugo Lindgren said: “In light of his recent comments on Twitter, Andrew will not be contributing the Talk column to the Magazine for four weeks, beginning Oct. 28. He’ll be back with the column after that.”
