NYT: AIG Mulls Suit Against Government Over Bailout

American International Group’s board will meet on Wednesday to mull joining a $25 billion shareholder lawsuit against the government, the New York Times reported late Monday. The suit alleges that the terms of the government bailout of the insurance giant wasn’t fair and deprived shareholders of billions of dollars. 

According to Reuters, AIG confirmed the Times’ report of the Wednesday meeting.
