Two Home Depot employees have died after a shooting on Sunday at a Manhattan store, according to multiple news reports.
A Home Depot employee entered the New York City location at around 2:40 p.m. He shot and killed a store supervisor before turning the gun on himself, MSNBC and the New York Daily News reported.
According to the Daily News, police found the shooter dead in the store. The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
A Home Depot employee told the Daily News that he heard four shots fired in the store.
Wow. There but for the grace of God go I. I feel like this every time I’m in that store. “Self Check Out?” No freaking way.
Just too many guns. . . our lives have always contained family pressures and workplace problems - and some of us handle these things better than others. But now, instead of dealing with those stresses by yelling, or writing a nasty note, or even throwing a cup of coffee, there exists the option of blowing someone away. It just shouldn’t be risky to buy some paint.
If only Home Depot had hammers - folks could’ve defended themselves.
“…He shot and killed a store supervisor…”
Conservatives affirm the rights of the gunman take precedence.
Conservatives don’t want to live in a country recognizing gay marriage because of some arguable biblical interpretation, but by God they’re delighted to make me live in a society with ready access to lethal weapons and Republican legislatures willing to enable murderers.
Ladies: does this happen when you do your nails?
